Vintage Ceramic Mugs Briglin Pottery c1970
A pair of vintage ceramic mugs dating from the late 1960's early 1970's. Produced by Briglin pottery, they feature stunning markings and glazing, with the inner part of the mug having a lighter ribbed finish. Briglin Pottery was set up in 1948 by Brigitte Goldschmidt and Eileen Lewenstein in Crawford Street, in London's fashionable W1 area, closing in 1990, Their object was to produce well designed, attractive pots that could be used in the home.
